Qutub Shahi Tombs

As part of the community service & Go Green initiative organized by our company we went to Qutub Shahi tombs to clean up & plant trees in the site.

These tombs are basically the burial grounds of the royal nawabs of Golconda. All these tombs were surrounded by a compound wall. we even saw a masjid inside these tombs.

This is first tomb that we saw near the entrance.

The largest one among these is the tomb of "Muhammad kuli Kutub Shah". It was built during Kuli Kutub shah's reign and after his death his body was buried in side the tomb.

View of Golconda from the tombs

Inside the tomb, It shows the master piece architecture of the nawabs

We were instructed not to enter the mausoleums with foot wear.
