Qutub Shahi Tombs

As part of the community service & Go Green initiative organized by our company we went to Qutub Shahi tombs to clean up & plant trees in the site.

These tombs are basically the burial grounds of the royal nawabs of Golconda. All these tombs were surrounded by a compound wall. we even saw a masjid inside these tombs.

This is first tomb that we saw near the entrance.

The largest one among these is the tomb of "Muhammad kuli Kutub Shah". It was built during Kuli Kutub shah's reign and after his death his body was buried in side the tomb.

View of Golconda from the tombs

Inside the tomb, It shows the master piece architecture of the nawabs

We were instructed not to enter the mausoleums with foot wear.

College (Happy) Days

I just want to share some beautiful moments i had some time back.

I went to my friend's marriage on 12th Dec 2010 it was scheduled at 8:30 evening.

After reaching guntur, we have planned to visit our college (Vignan's Engg college, Now a university). we had our lunch and took an RTC bus to our college.

As we were reaching our college, there was a dharna going on and the road was blocked.
We got down from the bus and walked nearly half a kilo meter & from there we took another bus and reached our college.

That was a very emotional moment for us. Its been nearly 6 yrs. Nothing changed except the we(age 20 to 28 ayyindi, waist 28 nunchi 34 ayindi :-)...).

I was surprised to see that many MNCs were hiring ppl from our college. At that time campus recruitment is happening..

We met our ECE Lab assistant. he recognized me. he has even offered some coffee for us.. we spent some time talking about our HODs and lecturers...

We walked thru the campus.... went to our class rooms... I've even taken some snaps of our campus..

Every moment we spent reminded me our college days (ade mana HAPPY DAYS)

Manam classes boycott chesina rojulu...

All these things make me smile and then laugh...

When we think of those days... we feel like laughing at ourself. endukante.... edi chesina correct ani feel ayyevallam...

Earth Day - April 22th 2012

Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Reminds me the famous dialogue of rao gopal rao in Muthyala Muggu movie Suryudu Netthuti Gaddalaa Ledu? Aakasamlo Mardar Jariginatlu Ledu

   Piercing through the clouds

On a fine winter morning, when I woke up I saw some thing which I felt I could see only in a place like Ooty or kodaikanal.

In a moment I felt whether I was still in my dreams….. To my surprise I realized, that the wonderful scene is in Hyderabad (One of the top Indian cities contributing for Global warming).
