The
botanical garden near Kondapur, Hyderabad (Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy Botanical
Garden) was developed by the Forests Department and its main aims was to provide
the facility of a modern botanical garden to conserve and develop the germ
plasm and to educate the people. The garden is spread over 120 acres.
